You will collaborate with senior engineers and development teams to deploy and maintain critical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management, configuration, and automation of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, working to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and work to improve the reliability of the infrastructure.
- Help in managing configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar).
- Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Provide support for containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Assist with server administration and ensure high availability of development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development cycles, security, and scalability.
Qualifications:
- 1.5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role or similar technical position.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and server administration.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Some experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
- Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
