Junior Estimator - SiteWorx Services

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver 5 STAR Customer Experiences

oPrepare detailed and accurate scopes of work for all trades.

oReview and develop general conditions and general requirements - and assign risk factors to the project while mitigating risk(s)

oProvide ideas and pricing for value engineering, alternates, options, and special studies as required.

oReview design documents for level of completion, assemble comments and requests for additional information needed to provide complete estimates.

oAttend pre-bid meetings and subcontractor site walk-throughs.

oAttend and/or lead preconstruction meetings with client and design team

oAssist with managing relationships with project managers as required, including the oversight of meetings with clients, vendors, and project managers.

Lead Operational Excellence

oCoordination of operational input during the estimating and bidding process.

oCoordinate subcontractor bids. Evaluate for completeness and identify scope gaps and overlaps and coordinate with other staff managing trades. Bid leveling.

oWork with Operations team to determine site logistics and schedule requirements.

oObtaining, assembling, distributing, and filling all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.

oProvide adequate communication in the handover of projects to the operations team.

oAttend internal review meetings.

oAnalyze project performance during and after construction.

oCollaborates with other groups within company to address business opportunities and overcome obstacles. Work with Business Development and Operations to proficiently bid proposals.

oGenerates and gathers ideas for improvement, takes advantage of opportunities, suggests innovations. Develops and maintains standards and processes and implements change, as necessary.

oEnsure strict adherence to all ethics and compliance requirements.

oPerforms all functions in accordance with the "Yes I Can" philosophy. Providing support, backup and training, and performs work in other positions, as qualified, when needed. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned
