About the Role:
Join Intelliforce as a System Administrator supporting mission-critical application and web service development for an advanced Identity and Access Management solution. In this exciting role, you’ll also work with the Endpoint Services team, supporting systems implementing JBlocks. You’ll serve as a backup SA, ensuring system operations remain smooth and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities:
- System Support: Maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical systems to ensure uninterrupted operations of IdAM solutions.
- System Administration: Perform system startup and shutdown procedures, manage system patches, and conduct vulnerability scans to maintain system integrity.
- Documentation: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including System Security Plans, Security CONOPS, FAQs, and How-To guides.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop, test, and run scripts in Bash, Python, and Perl to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Endpoint Services team to implement JBlocks capabilities and support Zero Trust initiatives.
Key Technologies and Skills:
- Operating Systems: In-depth understanding of RedHat Linux 8 and above.
- Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with AWS/eVo, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Perl scripting.
- System Management: Experience in system startup/shutdown, vulnerability scanning, patch management, and maintaining system documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a System Administrator, performing similar tasks to those required for this position. Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Desired Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and the capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
