About the Job
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Junior Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) to support customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.
Applies scientific, mathematic, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment.
Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques, to design procedures and execute these procedures for: experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
Experience with MBSE practices. Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
Requires experience with systems engineering and model-based methodologies. Experience with the use of SysML.
Position requires a Management, Technical or Scientific AS or AA degree.
Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator. Has taken a SysML modeling language course.
- Candidate must hold an active DoD secret clearance.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
