Junior SAP ABAP Developer - Maximus

About the Job
We are seeking a Junior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team supporting a Federal government client.
Candidate will play a junior role in providing support to the client's SAP S/4 HANA platform development along with associated environments and components. Developer will work on the SAP ECC to S/4 Hana migration project, including code remediation and S4 Fiori.
- Program concepts in SAP modules such as FI/CO/MM/AM/PPS procurement.
- Work collaboratively with developers and business analysts to ensure success of the S/4 migration project.
- Conduct testing and support defect analysis and remediation.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide daily support in the SAP environment, including resolving help desk tickets on security assignments and issues and uploads.
Position is remote within US.
*Position is contingent on contract award.
Project Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
- At least (2) two years of relevant IT experience required
- Experience in one or several SAP Business Solutions, e.g. Revenue accounting/GL/ Record to Report
- Experience in one or several SAP Products, e.g., SAP ECC/ Payroll/ Asset management/ / MM procurement
- Experience in Business workflows, adobe forms, smart forms etc.
- Transactional application integration through OData Integration.
- Knowledge and experience in REST API service
- Object Oriented ABAP; Knowledge of RAP (Restful Application programming model).
- Familiarity with SAP ABAP debugging techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Business Object development frameworks (Workflow, BOL, BADIs and others).
Preferred experience:
- Current IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- Knowledge of IRS business systems and data
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, including Scrum or Kanban processes
- Certification in SAP HANA technology
Additional requirements as per Contract/Client:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk MBI.
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug, implement, and document basic software programs.
- Assist in the research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements.
- Assist in resolving routine production support problems.
- Conduct routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
