Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description- Perform maintenance tasks including inspection, servicing, and repairs of production and operational equipment.
- Independently complete tasks in the area of responsibility according to predefined guidelines.
- Assist in transfer projects as per instructions.
- Support and oversee third-party contractors on-site.
- Ensure spare parts management according to predefined guidelines.
- Participate in hazard assessments at the site.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the area of responsibility.
- Knowledge acquired as part of a 3-year technical vocational training (e.g. mechatronics engineer, mechanic, etc.)
- Some practical experience in a comparable role, ideally in a maintenance environment.
- Basic knowledge of maintaining, repairing, diagnosing, and installing or replacing equipment and machinery.
- Familiarity with blueprints, diagrams, and basic electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment safely.
- Good communication skills to explain technical problems clearly.
- Basic written communication skills for documenting repair, installation, and maintenance tasks.
- Physical stamina to handle tools and equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work under supervision while applying technical judgment to less complex tasks.
