Junior Software Developer (Systems Engineering Department) - Sabre Systems Inc.

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Junior Software Developer to support the Systems Engineering Department at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.  The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• May maintain databases within an application

Requirements: 

• Must have one (1) or more years of related experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD secret clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
