ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join on our team in the Chantilly, VA area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Building software and web development
+ Driving software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
+ Continuous IntegrationAutomated TestingDevOps.
Basic Qualifications :
+ Experience with Agile software development experience JavaJEE, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, GitLab, ElasticSearch, Grafana, Kibana.
+ Experience with Web Development.
+ Experience with Cloud-based technologies(familiarity with AWS service offerings).
+ Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline.
+ Experience with designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
+ Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
+ Experience with distributed systems (services and databases).
+ Experience with developing /debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services.
+ Experience with Test, Verification, and Deployment.
+ B.S. in a technical field with 2+ years of software engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a technical field with 0+ years of systems engineering experience.
Security Clearance Requirements:
+ An active and current TS/SCI w/ poly is required.
Physical Requirements :
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
