POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the accumulation and preparation of monthly financial report, working closely with senior accounting staff.
- Support the senior accounting staff in completing month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Process financial transactions and validation, including invoice verification and reconciliation.
- Reconcile and verify employee expense reports and p-card transactions.
- Support ongoing improvements in the financial reporting process and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role or industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to accurately calculate and analyze financial data.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
