Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join their team, supporting the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Government Collaborative Computing (GCC) environments. This role includes tasks such as ensuring compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), deploying security tools like Sentinel and CrowdStrike Falcon, and configuring cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in MS Azure and MS 365 administration, strong scripting and configuration management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational security and support. The position requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective collaboration within a dynamic and mission-focused environment.
- Configurations of the Azure environment to confirm with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Implementation and management of Sentinel, Microsoft’s Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) solution
- Baseline configurations of endpoints and servers to include CrowdStrike Falcon, VPN clients, and Multifactor Authentication
- Provide Tier 1 support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of identified issues using a singular ticketing system
- Working knowledge of vulnerability management and applying Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS) to both Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of how to install and properly configure cloud-based firewalls or Virtual Desktop Environments
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required along with an Associates degree
- Administration of MS 365
- Experience with MS 365 Administration
- Experience deploying solutions utilizing MS Azure
- Familiarity using CrowdStrike to review and respond to security incidents using CrowdStrike
- Administration and deployment of cloud-based Fortinet solutions experience
- Configuring and managing end points using MS Intune experience
Preferred Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with preference for degrees from NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) accredited institutions
- A degree from an NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) accredited college or university is a major plus

Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; The selected candidate will need to apply and obtain a Secret clearance if the selected candidate doesn't already have one
- Must complete and submit an application for a DOD Secret security clearance within the first 30 days of employment
