K-12 School District Substitute Teachers at Zen Educate

Job Description

We are looking for K-12 substitute teachers in the Colorado Springs Area. As a substitute Teacher you will support children in the classroom and gain exposure to schools and invaluable experience.

In this role, you will be able to grow your experience and relationships with multiple schools and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles. This role comes with a competitive daily rate between $170 - $200 per day, paid weekly. With this role there is no requirement to work weekends and will be on a Monday to Friday schedule within hours of 7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Responsibilities:

• Support the school where needed

• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning

• Assign lessons and follow the classroom teacher’s lesson plans

• Maintaining a safe learning environment

• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-yr college or university in the U.S.

• Currently have or will obtain a CO teaching credential or substitute teaching permit

• Pass a background check before the hiring date

• Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
