Are you a true animal lover who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a dedicated kennel attendant to join our veterinary team. This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t mind getting messy but finds joy in caring for animals.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Feeding and administering medication to dogs and cats
- Bathing, nail trimming, and walking various dog breeds
- Cleaning and maintaining pet rooms and cages
- Performing laundry, dishes, and ensuring a clean environment
- Interacting with clients and providing customer service
- Supporting hospital staff with additional tasks as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Must have previous animal experience
- Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (rain or shine)
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
