Schutz New York Flagship at 540 Broadway is looking for a full-time Key Holder to join our team! This position will work alongside the sales team in elevating company standards. Our Key Holders are responsible for opening or closing the store, optimizing the client experience by creating connections, offering hospitality, providing recommendations and listening to the customer’s needs. This position is responsible for driving the business forward by fostering the development of loyal shoppers, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of all products and maintaining the brand’s visual standards throughout the store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry the responsibilities of opening and closing the store
- Provide assistance to store management as needed
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by creating an engaging interactive experience
- Help expand clientele while continuing to service existing client base
- Resolve customer service issues promptly
- Ensure customer’s needs are met or surpassed while leaving the clients with a memorable brand experience
- Consistently meet/exceed both store and individual sales goals
- Promote positive working environment through effective communication amongst peers, Management, and Corporate office
- Maintains a clean working environment and ensure presentation of product and store is consistent to standard
- Support daily merchandising and maintenance
- Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
- Is fully knowledgeable of the products features and benefits
- Consistently adheres to company policies and procedures
- Communicates all store related issues to Store Manager when unable to solve on their own
- Performs opening/closing duties as required
- Uses time effectively when not servicing clients
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Applies key sales principles and exceptional customer service practices
- Possess excellent customer service abilities including communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to identify customer needs and tailor solutions
- Extensive knowledge of fashion and trends
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Previous retail and/or sales experience is a plus
- Goal oriented and driven
- Enthusiastic and inviting, a friend to every customer
- Must be able to accommodate to a flexible schedule, evenings and weekend included.
- Must be at least 18 years old
