1. The Key Holder keeps common areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Assists Manager in opening doors for residents and participates in rotation of emergency pager as applicable.
2. Pick up and empty trash and clean dumpster areas.*
3. Maintain clean common areas by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and/or sweeping. Common areas include, but are not limited to: community room(s), kitchen, bathrooms, offices, entry areas, and laundry room.*
4. Notify Community Manager of lease agreement violations by completing written incident reports and maintain a log book of events occurring during the shift.*
5. Notify Manager of any emergencies and call 911 if needed.*
6. Lock and unlock designated common areas and assist residents as needed.*
7. Provide coverage for manager as requested; take and relay messages and complaints.*
8. Notify Community Manager concerning need for repairs.*
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours*

Education and/or Experience
6 months related experience and/or training.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
