About the Job
We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen staff and maintain
cleanliness around our restaurant. Kitchen Helper responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, in addition to loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. If you want to kick start your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we’d like to meet you!
Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation prior to service
Set up workstations before service begins
Pre-wash dishes, load and unload dishwasher
Wash specific items by hand (e.g. large pots)
Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and communicate when orders are necessary
Required Skills
Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, including assisting with food prep
Strong time management & organizational skills
Attention to detail and sanitation rules
Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
High School Diploma a plus
Must be able to work on your feet for the entirety of the shift
Must be able to lift 50+ Pounds
Strong communication skills + a team mentality
Food Preparation Experience a plus
Baking Experience a plus
Pay Rate: $15-$19/hour based on Experience
