KITCHEN MANAGER
The Kitchen manager is a critical role in our restaurants. We are looking for experience managing in a kitchen, and a track record of being dependable and hard-working while bringing positive vibes. If you have good attention to detail with the ability to positively motivate and develop a kitchen team then this is the job for you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen in food preparation and production with attention to quality and presentation
- Ability to lead all positions proficiently, following all Tokyo Joe’s standards and procedures
- Creates and follows through on the completion of food prep lists
- Full understanding and execution of government food safety requirements.
- Maintains kitchen cleanliness and equipment
- Proficient knife-handling skills
- Manage others through positive communication, teamwork, and delegation to complete tasks
- COGS management: Ordering, receiving, managing invoices and returns, inventory, pars
- Crisis management and ability to react quickly to change
- Orientation, new hire training, and team development
- Motivate your team through professional communication, coaching, and performance reviews
