Kitchen Manager (St. Petersburg, FL.)
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for managing the back of house (BOH) food service needs for our exclusive Senior Living Community. The Kitchen Manager must have strong culinary experience and possess the ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume tray-line production kitchen. The Kitchen Manager reports to the Director of Dining Services.
Primary responsibilities include food ordering, production schedules, food-safety training, and adherence to sanitation practices. The Kitchen Manager must have a passion for culinary creativity and believe in the following standards while leading through example. Must have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and recognize the satisfaction that comes from serving the food and nutrition needs of long-term care residents.
Job Qualifications:
- 5 years of prior kitchen management as lead chef or supervisor role
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to emerging priorities
- Possess a strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Serve-Safe Manager Certification required
- Comply with facility AHCA background screening and drug testing
