About the Job
Position Summary: To perform maintenance on all kitchen equipment while creating and maintaining a preventative maintenance program.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain and repair all kitchen equipment to include but not limited
to: gas stoves, ovens, slicers, steam tables, convection ovens,
grills, proofing box, smokers, hot/cold boxes and sink disposals
- Daily cleaning of gas equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls within the department.
- Weekly inspection of pilot assemblies, switches, scanners and regulators.
- Maintain proper kitchen equipment spare parts inventory level, as required.
- Establish preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
- Establish professional working relationship with outside vendors who provide contracted services for various types of equipment.
- Acquire a working knowledge of the Lodge and facilities to respond appropriately to guest questions, as required.
- Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters coming to her/his attention so prompt action can be taken when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- A safe driving record and valid driver’s license
- EPA Certified

- Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.). To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of 10 - key Accounting software, Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word
