About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have at least 5 years of kitchen experience and possess exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As the Kitchen Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of kitchen team. Ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction by fulfilling orders,quality control and food safety standards.
Kitchen Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the kitchen team members including training, deployment and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen procedures, at each kitchen position
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in order fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with others including the Manager on Duty and the kitchen and front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and inventory and waste management
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor kitchen performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability
Kitchen Shift Leader Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of drive-through experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficient in using Kitchen POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
