Kitchen Team Member - The Simple Greek

Summary of duties and responsibilities: 

• Take ownership of each guest’s experience and feel empowered to take initiative that will improve restaurant operations and atmosphere 

• Patiently and respectfully resolve issues with guests. Be proactive to avoid conflicts with guests and be reactive to ensure dissatisfied guests return to the restaurant. Remember that everyone has bad days, and it’s your job as their server to make them better 

• Quickly and expertly prepare and serve all food and drinks according to The Simple Greek standards 

• Follow The Simple Greeks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, security and sanitation 

• Maintain a clean, welcoming workspace and restaurant atmosphere, which includes keeping track of stock levels and checking & maintaining tables, floors, windows, soda stations, trash cans, and bathrooms 

• Report guest complaints, product shortages, product quality concerns, facility and equipment issues to Team Leader or Manager in a timely manner 

• Be punctual and take responsibility for your shifts 

Qualifications 

• Work hard, be nice, be outgoing, and detail oriented 

Physical Requirements 

• Able to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods of time 

• Able to stoop and kneel
