ModMed's Product Development team is excited to welcome interns who are passionate about pursuing a career in Software Engineering for our Klara team. We are a dynamic group of experts specializing in Java, .NET, Mobile (iOS), and QA (Automation) Engineering, all guided by the principles of Scrum Agile Methodology. Our software operates smoothly within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment. Klara is a rapidly growing communication platform, and we invite you to help the team develop new features or optimize operations within the Klara platform.

Your Role:
- Tackle Complex Challenges: Engage with and solve intricate problems, pushing the boundaries of your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute Across the Tech Spectrum: Be an integral part of our engineering projects, making contributions to the frontend, backend, and/or mobile development efforts.
- Witness Your Impact: Experience the gratification of seeing your code come to life, as it's deployed and utilized by both internal and external customers.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Join forces with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive system support, gaining valuable exposure to various aspects of our operations.
If you're considering joining ModMed's Summer 2024 Internship Program, you might be an ideal candidate if you meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: You are currently enrolled in a Computer Science program (or a related field) or have recently graduated. Strong preference for upcoming graduates and seniors.
- Availability: You can commit to a flexible work schedule, preferably full-time, from Monday to Friday for the duration of the summer.
- Academic Excellence: You maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates with exposure and familiarity with Python, Java, Data Analytics, Advanced Math, DataDog, and/or New Relic are preferred.
- Passion for Software Engineering: You possess a genuine enthusiasm for software engineering and are eager to explore and work with new technologies.
- Curiosity and Problem-Solving Skills: You approach challenges with curiosity and are skilled at finding solutions.
- Self-Motivated: You're a self-starter, results-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
- Effective Communication: You have strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with your peers.
- Adaptability: You excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can adapt to changing circumstances.
