Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Knowledge Manager to join our USCYBERCOM team.
Location: on-site at Fort Meade, MD.
In this role you will:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Knowledge Management and its reporting capabilities.
- Manage content and workflow.
- Educate front-end users on the use of the Knowledge Management System.
- Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
- Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
- Coordinate process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of technology solutions, facilitate discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices, and coordinate the development and modification of new and existing content.
- Provide operational support by conducting and overseeing data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper categorization of content.
- Provide strategic direction to business groups through initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application and ensures that policies and procedures align with the USCYBERCOM mission.
- Manage content that integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
- Oversee reporting to support operations and prepares analysis and recommendations related to categorization of content and optimizing search results.
- Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized (e.g., improved process consistency and faster onboarding of information).
- Facilitate development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, and prepares presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.
Preferred:
- Significant SharePoint experience.
- Significant Jira and Confluence experience.
- Ability to build JIRA workflows and automate recurring tasks
- Ability to build and maintain JIRA dashboards
- Understanding of how to apply JIRA rich filters to dashboards
- Experience using JQL (Jira Query Language)
- Experience creating confluence pages and creating permission groups
- Experience creating JIRA sprints and Roadmaps
