About the Job
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Knowledge Manager to be responsible for developing, managing, updating and maintaining the organization's SharePoint environment databases, and internal websites to ensure effective collaboration, information sharing, and knowledge management across the enterprise. The KM systems will enhance information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents.
Responsibilities include:
- Train system users, which may include stakeholders and partners, providing user guides as needed
- Integrate information with other databases, as required
- Utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users' access and ability to analyze information holdings
- Employ specific tools for unique office needs, as required, which may include interoperability with or ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners
- Create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable stakeholder and its partners to collaborate, store, search, and discover information; share lessons learned and best practices; and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and strategies. Develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve exchanges of information across systems as well as the stakeholders and private sectors
- Maintain and update a system wide repository for instructions, Internal Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memorandum
- Build data repositories for a variety of mission needs that easily and automatically generate a variety of visualizations to support analysis, reporting, and briefing
Here is what you need:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or 3+ years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and knowledge management
Bonus points if you have:
- DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent)
- SharePoint Administrator certification preferred
- Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and best practices
• Proficient in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels
Security Clearance:
- Must possess an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph to start.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
