We are seeking an energetic, skilled Production Lead-Nights for expansion openings in our facility in Penn Yan, NY. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.
Main Functions: Production Floor Leads are able to carry out the daily production schedule, ensure escalation of any arising issues or potential issues to appropriate management, and assist within the department where necessary.

Salary: Starting at $22.00/hour
Schedule (Rotating 12-Hour Shift Schedule)
Week A: 36 hours - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week B: 48 hours - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Responsibilities
- Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak
- Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth
- Follow the daily production schedule according to the product needs while communicating with the Processors throughout the shift
- Escalates any quality or production issues to all supervisors
- Understanding of the entire production process from milk intake all the way through finished goods
- Provide support and work alongside any operation that may be shirt staffed or need help
- Maintenance of all equipment in the production process
- Assist with order fulfillment adjustments, review & sign paperwork associated with these adjustments
- Understands variances in processes, directly corrects the issues or recommends potential fixes to Production Supervisor
- Assisting with continuous training of technicians
- Responsible for working in a safe manner, supporting and adhering to all Safety policies, procedures and regulations
- Responsible for working in a manner that adheres and supports all policies and procedures that support Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements

Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Specialized production training
- Experience of the yogurt production process
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop other staff member in a team-based environment
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
