Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Desktop Support Specialist with
network administration responsibilities to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in both desktop support and network administration, with the ability to troubleshoot
and resolve complex technical issues. CCNA and CCNP certification required.
Responsibilities:
Desktop Support:
Provide technical assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, upgrade, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
Conduct remote troubleshooting and provide clear technical instructions.
Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
Record technical issues and solutions in logs.
Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional.
Network Administration:
Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Manage network security measures.
Maintain network services, such as DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in the IT field
Experience with the ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system.
CCNA and CCNP certification.
Experience with Cisco switches.
iPhone support, setup, and managing platforms.
Industrial experience (for safety reasons).
Willingness to work overtime or on weekends.
Flexibility to work different shifts if needed.
Proven work experience as an L3 Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
Customer-oriented attitude.
Must be ready to take any shift, any day.
