Must-Have Installing/Upgrading/Migrating/Patching SQL servers Configuring and managing alerts and monitoring SQL servers Configuring and troubleshooting High Availability servers Knolwdge on Always On, Replication, Log shipping, Mirroring, clustering Troubleshooting performance tuning issues High CPU, high memory etc Manage Backups, refreshes, maintenance jobs etc Good-to-Have Good troubleshooting skills to support business critical applications in Production - Mandatory Good Communication skills – Mandatory Flexible to work in shifts - Mandatory Work Experience on incidents/Changes/requests/tasks on Service Now ITIL Knowledge / Certification SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Installing/Upgrading/Migrating/Patching SQL servers 2 Configuring and managing alerts and monitoring SQL servers 3 Configuring and troubleshooting High Availability servers 4 Knolwdge on Always On, Replication, Log shipping, Mirroring, clustering 5 Troubleshooting performance tuning issues High CPU, high memory etc 6 Manage Backups, refreshes, maintenance jobs etc
