Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist, 24-Hour Part-time, Evening
Job Description:
Job Summary:
Draws blood from patients and collects specimens for COVID-19 testing.
Principal Duties and Essential Functions:
+ Performs phlebotomy procedures
+ Performs appropriate specimen collection on all preoperative patients to test for COVID-19
+ Registers samples and orders tests
+ Schedules patients for testing
+ Logs and replaces supplies as appropriate
Requires:
High School Degree or equivalent
Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred, willing to train
