Intertek Caleb Brett is leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide and experts in qualitative and quantitative analytical assessment services to the oil and gas, chemical, and other commodities markets. With international 24/7/365 service and coordination coverage, we treat each cargo as if it were our own.

Here's What You'll Do On The Job As A Lab Coordinator:

• Receives requests for services, in various ways and records the details of the nomination on a Job
• Order or equivalent. Enters each job into a separate record, and records a unique identifier. Reviews
• client instructions and identifies potential problems regarding operations, conflict of interest, ethics or
• compliance and alerts relevant parties in order to seek solutions.
• Becomes familiar with the nominating company's Intertek agreement, communicates with the client to
• obtain detailed instructions and to verify the client's needs, and coordinates further communications
• between the client and Intertek personnel who will be handling the work.
• Updates responsible parties to facilitate organization of requested services, relays available information
• supplied of the hazards and other properties of the products dealt with, and communicates among all
• parties to resolve problems in a responsive manner.
• Acts as single point of contact for designated clients for all instructions.
• Collects the information provided by Inspectors, communicates with the laboratory regarding analysis
• performed, and assembles a final report ready for publishing.
• Maintains good records on closed jobs for purposes of billing, volume reconciliation, claims handling
• Maintains a geographic awareness of all company locations and capabilities.
• Remains prepared to access, at any time, any necessary personnel and services.
• Visits clients and acts as a positive representative of the Branch and of the Company.
• Performs the functions of a Dispatcher when occasionally required.
• Carries out all of the above responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence to the Company's
• Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, Ethics Policy, Environmen t

Here's What It Takes To Be Successful:

• Bachelor of Science degree helpful
• Two + years of Petroleum Laboratory testing
• Organized with excellent time management skills
• Technically proficient in Laboraotry processes.
• Knowledge of petroleum and chemical inspection procedures.
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of the business requirements of the client.
