Caleb Brett team provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment to the world's petroleum, mining, minerals, and biofuels industries. The Lab Coordinator connects with the client, receives requests for services, in various ways, and records the details of the nomination on a Job Order or equivalent.
What you'll do:
- Receives requests for services, in various ways and records the details of the nomination on a Job Order or equivalent.
- Setup Renewable test methods, Train Staff
- Coordinate with new and existing clients. Seek new business and is a positive representative to clients.
- Enters each job into a separate record and records a unique identifier.
- Review's client instructions and identifies potential problems regarding operations, conflict of interest, ethics or compliance and alerts relevant parties to seek solutions.
- Becomes familiar with the nominating company's Intertek agreement, communicates with the client to obtain detailed instructions and to verify the client's needs, and coordinates further communications between the client and Intertek personnel who will be handling the work.
- Updates responsible parties to facilitate organization of requested services, relays available information supplied of the hazards and other properties of the products dealt with and communicates among all parties to resolve problems in a responsive manner.
- Acts as single point of contact for designated clients for all instructions.
- Collects the information provided by clients, communicates with the laboratory regarding analysis performed, and assembles a final report ready for publishing.
- Maintains good records on closed jobs for purposes of billing, claims handling, etc.
- Maintains a geographic awareness of all company locations and capabilities.
- Remains prepared to access, at any time, any necessary personnel, and services.
- Visit's clients and acts as a positive representative of the Branch and of the Company.
- Carries out all the above responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence to the Company's Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, and Ethics Policy.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid and current drivers license with reliable driving record is required
- College Degree or equivalent of 8 + year's work experience in the petroleum laboratory
- Renewable energy industry experience
- Technically proficient in laboratory processes
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Knowledge of fuel oil and renewable feedstock analysis.
Shift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm CDT, Daily, Mon Thru Fri
