Lab - Pathology Assistant - All Medical Personnel

Position: Pathology Assistant

Job Description:

Accessions and stores surgical specimens.

Files and stores all materials related to pathology laboratory.

Substitutes as needed in the Autopsy Room.

Aids and assists in the preparation of labels on frozen section material and in other tasks related to surgical pathology.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelors Degree in Science

1 year experience as a Surgical Pathology Technician

Ability to interact professionally with medical staff with respect to providing assistance and information related to surgical pathology tissue dissection and gross examination.
