Lab Process Generalist The Lab Process Generalist supports and enables all onsite lab process operations using inputs from internal and external resources to ensure the lab personnel have a clear understanding of the testing goals, materials, standards, and objectives required to meet the needs of upstream and downstream customers. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set and maintain quality and testing standards, and act as the conduit for all feedback, compliance, testing schedule, and adjustment from support teams to the labs and back out to external partners. Assures consistency, reliability and credibility of data and is responsible for delivering on service level agreements; participates in standardization efforts across global laboratories and ensures benchmark strategies are achieved The Lab Process Generalist is a member of the End 2 End mission team and should maintain a strong relationship with the team and other lab support personnel to support operations at the lab and resolve testing challenges. The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt quickly to changes in the business, courageously face new challenges and opportunities, ensure the highest level of compliance and safety around them. Provide timely technical support where needed to ensure the best customer experience possible. Mentor less experienced Lab Analysts and coach employees across the lab on basic operations and quality standards Initiate periodic communication with Planning, Manufacturing, Field Production, Product Quality, & Product Management teams to ensure alignment across all stakeholder groups. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a preferred discipline: Biology, Chemistry, Pathology, Engineering, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience Ability to critically think about the business Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree Knowledge of process improvement tools/systems such as Six Sigma, LEAN, onePSS, etc. Experience using automated systems and LIMS systems Demonstration of courage, candor and initiative in past assignments Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $84,350.40 - $126,525.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
