ENTRY LEVEL - contract assignment 
Pay rate: $22/hr
Hours are 7:00am-3:00pm but when rotating in the washroom 6:00am-2:30pm.

Must be able to work onsite - Greater Hartford / Farmington location

Our Client, a large healthcare organization, has immediate needs for multiple entry level resources to assist in their research testing lab.

Candidates would be accountable for independently performing full range of tasks involved in the sanitation, sterilization, and distribution of supplies in the research laboratory. 

Duties:

• Sanitize, sterilize animal cages, supplies and equipment and washroom facility
• Routinely operate and maintain wash machines
• Assembles, prepares and stacks apparatus necessary to house, feed and water testing animals
• Prepares supplies for animal care staff
• Receives, stores and rotates feed, bedding and other animal care supplies and equipment
• Transports equipment and supplies
• Disposes of animal waste and carcasses
• updates and maintains records

Must be able to physically handle equipment (heavy lifting) and perform sanitizing duties independently. Must be open to research and testing performed on animal subjects.

Ideal candidate has experience in lab setting!
