Lab Tech-2nd shift - FurstStaffing

Lab Technician needed to help support core functions during the fourth quarter operations. Great opportunity to gain additional work experience or to work seasonally to earn extra income.  Lab Technician job duties include:This person would be expected to do the most basic lab functions (e.g., grabbing cheese samples), so they do not need prior lab/QA experience.Tests finished products to ensure chemical and microbiological compliance. Perform basic laboratory work including microbial plating, interpretation and finished product shelf life. Performs scale variations. Support the program by collecting and testing surface, air, drain, hygiene and pathogen swabs.  Lab Technician requirements include:High School Diploma/GEDAbility to write, speak and read EnglishPrevious food industry experience preferred, particularly in cheese and/or dairy applications.   Lab Technician Pay is $23 per hour.Lab Technician Work hours- Typical hours are 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Tuesday/Wednesday through Friday.
