Lab Tech - The Fountain Group

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Lab Tech for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Waco, TX. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:
**2^nd SHIFT: 2pm-10pm onsite**

• Performs advance testing methods for HPLC.
  • Experience with HPLC testing and chromatography processing is required.
  • Experience with Empower is desired.
• Organizes and performs testing of raw materials, bulk samples, and finished product to assure the chemical quality of the product.
• Maintains accurate notebook of all sample identifications, raw data, and calculations associated with assigned analysis duties.
• Reports anomalies in analyses and malfunctions of equipment to laboratory supervisor.
• Ability to work effectively with a team of chemists.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow stringent procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS with post-grad HPLC (may consider GC experience over HPLC)
• Experience working with chromeleon, empower, or another form of chromatography data analysis

Compensation: Up to $33 an hour depending on experience
