When you work as a Laboratory Technician at KCAS PHL, you further our mission by supporting our dedicated team of scientists who focus on Client Service and Quality in our laboratory facility. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation of media, buffers, and reagents within a GLP laboratory environment. You are also responsible for order receipt, reagent/supply restocking of the laboratories, and sample receipt under GLP guidelines.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
- Maintain Laboratory Equipment Logbooks and maintenance records as per GLP requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support in the organization of GLP documentation regarding laboratory activities.
- Receive and store clinical samples as per GLP guidelines.
- Receive and restock all laboratory supplies as needed.
- Prepare media and buffers as requested by other team members and ensure that reagents on hand for use are non-expired.
- Train and perform backup archivist role as assigned.
- Maintain the chemical inventory for the FM labs.
- Respond to facility support requests.
- Perform any other duties as required or assigned.
To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
- Associates in Applied Science or related field, or 1 years of related experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology related discipline- plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office.
- A well-developed work ethic is essential, coupled with a strong motivation to complete tasks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Good communication skills and an ability to work with a team.
