About the Job
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking a Lab Technician for a steel manufacturing company in the Beaumont, TX area. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform analyses in the Metallographic Laboratory to ensure final products meet company and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Metallography analysis, reporting results, and releasing of final product according to quality specifications
+ Basic maintenance of equipment and requesting support in case of malfunction
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform general housekeeping duties in the laboratory
+ Perform all operations in accordance with OSHA regulations and company-specific health, safety, and environmental rules
Requirements
+ Associates / Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related technical discipline is preferred
+ Experience in a Quality Control or metallurgical lab would be a plus
This is a temp to hire assignment with a rotating 12 hour day and night shift work schedule. If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume for prompt consideration. #P1
