About the Job
Adecco is hiring immediately for Lab Technicians at a local client in Fort Wayne, IN. Lab Technicians do essential jobs with one of our premier clients with rates from $18.00-22.00/hr. depending on your experience. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision
Shifts: 1st
Pay: $18-22 hourly
Essential Functions:
Prepare material specimens for testing
Perform tests as directed by customer specifications
Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager
Gather and record test data
Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment
Requirements:
Working knowledge of laboratory safety
HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
6 months-2 years experience in a testing related field (i.e. chemistry, biology or related field)
Basic understanding of testing concepts
Possess computer skills.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
