Location: Yuma, AZ
Compensation: $39 - $51/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Day or Night Shift, 12 Hours
Responsibilities as the Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN):
Join our client's healthcare team in Yuma, AZ, as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Compensation: $39 - $51/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Day or Night Shift, 12 Hours
Responsibilities as the Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN):
- Patient Care: Perform vaginal exams, scalp electrode placements, and newborn transitions.
- Surgical Assistance: Circulate during C-sections and assist anesthesiology.
- Procedures: Start IVs, draw blood, and assign APGAR scores.
- Postpartum Care: Manage postpartum hemorrhage and administer epidurals and amnio infusions.
- Medication Management: Titrate drips for magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, and blood.
- Equipment Management: Troubleshoot and operate RT equipment (BVM-neonates, T-Piece resuscitator).
- Floating Requirements: Provide care in NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWOHNN-Intermediate or Advanced.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in labor and delivery, with the ability to perform vaginal exams and other specialized procedures.
- Skills: Proficient in managing postpartum hemorrhage, administering epidurals, and assisting with anesthesiology.
- Preferred: Experience with spinning babies.
- Staff Mix: Work collaboratively with a team that includes charge nurses, OB techs, OB/midwives, neonatologists, and OB anesthesiologists.
