Unit Description: Total # of beds on the unit 15. 330 births per month. Patient population: labor & delivery moms. High risk. Antepartum Pregnant post surgical requiring fetal monitoring. Certifications/skills required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring. Perfer someone who can scrub and circulate. Special Medications: Mag drips, insulin, pitocin. Patient Ratio 1-3. Floating required to FCC when necessary. Special procedures: C/sections, tubal deliveries. Spontaneous abortion. Ancillary Support and Services: Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Respiratory, Social Services and transportation.
