Labor & Employment Lawyer - Gpac

About the Job
gpac has partnered with several well-established and respected law firms who are seeking lawyers who focus on Labor & Employment Law defense or plaintiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in all their needs within L&E law. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in L&E and a strong commitment to protecting the rights of clients.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment experience
- Advising employers in hiring, employment contracts, compensation and discipline, termination matters
- Experience with union/management transactions, organizing campaigns grievance, arbitration and dispute resolution
- Have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
- CA License, in good standing
- Wage and Hour, PAGA experience preferred
- Experience forming, maintenance and termination of employment in collective bargaining agreements preferred
