Piper Companies is currently seeking a Laboratory Animal Caretaker for an opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) to join a prominent academic institution.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Animal Caretaker

• Ensure husbandry, nutrition and sanitation of animals used for university research
• Monitor compliance with institutional animal care
• Daily tasks include health checks, changing animal caging, and assisting with handling of animals

Qualifications of the Laboratory Animal Caretaker

• 1+ years of experience in animal caretaking or animal husbandry
• Prior experience working with animals in a laboratory or zoo setting preferred
• High School Degree required

Compensation for the Laboratory Animal Caretaker

• Salary Range: $20 - $22 / hour
