As a Laboratory Intern at Schreiber Foods, you will have the opportunity to assist lab staff in routine activities, as well as projects relating to laboratory methods and operations.
This position is onsite at our corporate lab in Green Bay. Our ideal intern will work part time (20 hours a week) during the school year, and full time (40 hours a week) during summer and winter breaks. Hours are flexible, between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday-Friday, with some Saturday hours as needed.
This internship will have a tentative start date in January 2025.
What you'll do:
- Assisting the laboratory staff with their day-to-day needs
- Completing projects as directed by leader (ex. instrument on-boarding and trialing)
- Conducting analytical testing of dairy products
- Conducting product applications tests.
What you will need to succeed:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Sciences, Nutritional (or any other related field), or an Associate's degree in a lab-science related program.
- Duration: On-going until graduation (full time in summer, at least 20 hours per week during school year)
