Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Durations: 12 months
Shift Timing: 1st shift weekends, Saturday-Tuesday, 7:00am-5:30pm (10hr shifts)
Job Description:
-Perform analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
-Conducts in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
-Records test results on batch tickets and in company s computer operating system.
-Organizes and maintains quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions
-Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests
-Sets up, adjusts, verifies, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments
-Maintain housekeeping of the working place
-Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy
-Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
-Performs 5S audits or other audits according to a plan.
-Support all Quality Control related One *** initiatives
Required Competencies:
-Minimum of two-year technical degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related experience and/or training
-Two (2) years analytical laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
