Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will support the Chemistry and Regulatory Testing and regulatory submission. The position will be located on site in the Durham, NC laboratory.
Collecting, receiving, labeling, and analyzing samples (such as aerosols) using the correct testing equipment.
Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard procedures.
Recording observations and interpreting findings related to aerosol properties.
Perform routine collection of aerosol samples from ENDS devices.
Perform preparation of samples for analysis.
Cleaning of laboratory glassware.
Write and review scientific documents in a timely manner (SOPs, VOPs, and Work Instructions).
Manage the regulatory documents systematically in a highly organized fashion.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to prepare clear and concise written documents.
Ability to communicate issues in a succinct and logical manner.
Strong problem-solving skills.
High motivation and flexibility.
ENDS or nicotine related products experience is preferred.
Experience in a regulated laboratory environment such as ISO 17025 is preferred but not required.

Mechanical aptitude very important
Don’t need candidates with Mass Spec experience
Associates degree any field with minimal experience, can teach them what they need to know
Requires a lot of attention to detail and following instructions
