Rockydale Quarries Corporation, an established aggregate producer, is seeking a Laboratory Technician at our Staunton, VA location. Candidate must be able to use proper tools and methods to obtain aggregate samples, and have the ability to properly determine all needed information including but not limited to moisture content, bulk density, abrasion and impact characteristics, etc.
The ideal candidate will also have the ability to communicate results to necessary parties, have basic mathematical skills, and be knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions and in a mining environment.
