The Leidos Intelligence Group has an opening for a cleared Laboratory Technologist (Lab Tech) who will work as part of team to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer.
The Lab Tech will:
+ Independently perform laboratory tests in accordance with applicable professional standards, laws, and regulations.
+ Perform screening procedures, including vision testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiometric testing when requested for use in job-related medical examinations and preventive health programs.
+ Effectively use and test various medical screening devices, including but not limited to hematology analyzer, blood chemistry analyzer, HIV analyzer, urine analyzer, audiometer, pulmonary function equipment, and vision screening equipment
Basic Qualifications
+ Minimum of a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
+ Associate’s degree in laboratory science, biology or chemistry and 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience is required
+ At least one year of experience in a full-service clinical laboratory
+ Active American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ACSP) certification
+ Active certification in spirometry
+ Active certification in audiometry
+ Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT)
+ Demonstrated experience using and testing various medical screening devices
+ Demonstrated ability to identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results. Ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic.
+ Fundamental understanding of Federal lab laws, regulations, and HIPAA standards.
+ Excellent verbal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science, biology or chemistry
+ Demonstrated phlebotomy experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
