Laboratory Validation Engineer - Piper Companies

Piper Companies is looking for a Laboratory Validation Engineer to assist Technical Support to ensure compliance within Laboratories for a Pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Raritan, NJ.  

Responsibilities for the Laboratory Validation Engineerinclude:

• Experience Pharmaceutical Laboratory Operations
• Must be familiar and have experience with laboratory instrument selection, installation (IQ/OQ) and qualification (PQ)
• Experience supporting laboratory investigations from beginning to end including, root cause identification and the implementation of CAPAs, and authoring the final investigation
• Hands-on experience with laboratory GMP instruments (i.e. AA, HPLC (waters), Autotitrators, NIR, ICP, FT-IR, particle counter, Gas analyzer)
• Experience with compendial method verification 

Qualifications for the Laboratory Validation Engineer include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry with minimum of 5 years experience in a Manufacturing GMP environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and independently.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated self-starter with capability to develop innovative solutions to challenges.
• Proven analytical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to apply key concepts.
• Speaks with courage and candor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation for the Laboratory Validation Engineerinclude:

·       Year-long consulting assignment

·       Pay rate - $60-$65/hour

·       Subsidized benefits, 2 weeks PTO, 6 paid holidays, 401k
