Laborer - Career Connections, Inc

Summary:
Laborers needed for a busy construction/carpentry company that does business in Southeastern Ohio. Their location is in Meigs County, but they work at job sites in about five different counties. Will be helping with the installation of various building materials at different job site locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing carpentry tasks such as building doors and fixtures, as well as staircases and railings with the direction of carpentry leads and supervisors.

This is a temporary-to-direct, full-time position hiring immediately. The standard schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, however, occasionally jobs will require working alternate shifts like 4/10s or similar so the ability to be flexible is needed. No weekends, no overtime. Starting pay is $15/hour. Benefits like health insurance are not currently available.

Qualfications:

• One year of construction/carpentry experience is highly desired.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure.
• Must be dependable, show up on time, and work well with a team.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• This employer requires a pre-employment drug screen at offer stage.
