We are currently seeking a Laborer (Asphalt Plant) for our Old Bridge, NJ plant on Day shift.

What you will do:
- Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
- Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, and moving materials as needed
- Participate in routine maintenance, cleaning, washing of the facility and equipment
- Operate small equipment as needed such as a skid steer or manlift
- Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations
- Perform daily workplace inspections and reports deficiencies immediately to supervisor
- Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
What you will need:
- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Positive, Team-based attitude
- The ability to stand, twist, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Working Conditions and physical environment: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
