Day to day as a Laborer

Join our team at Global, as a Full-Time Laborer where your days will be filled with a variety of tasks from tying up vessels to cleaning piers and vessel decks. You will have the opportunity to prepare surfaces for preservation and apply sealing compounds with precision. Additionally, you'll assist Mechanical and Electrical trades, showcasing your commitment to teamwork. This role will require occasional work at extreme heights and the ability to lift weights of up to 40 pounds, all while ensuring safety and respect are at the forefront of every task.

Are you a good fit for this Laborer job?

Individuals who possess at least one year of General Labor experience and are comfortable using basic hand tools are prioritized (Shipyard or Navy experience is a big plus!). However, the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately is crucial for success in this position and training can be provided for candidates who exemplify Global's core values of Commitment, Integrity, Growth, Individual Accountability, Respect, and Safety.
